A compositional technique where the primary subject is pushed to the extreme bottom of the frame, leaving vast, empty negative space above.
Extreme headspace deliberately violates the rule of thirds by shifting the visual weight to the lowest margin of the frame. This creates a powerful sense of isolation, scale, and quiet contemplation, forcing the viewer's eye to travel through a vast void before landing on the tiny subject.
