pour over coffee
Subject
Pour over coffee is a manual brewing method where hot water is slowly poured over coffee grounds in a filter, yielding a clear, nuanced, and aromatic cup.
Capture the coffee bloom. To ground the image in realism, prompt for the fresh rise of coffee grounds swelling and bubbling as hot water first touches them. This "bloom" is the signature of manual brewing.
Backlighting is key. Use soft backlighting to illuminate the stream of water and highlight the translucent, rich amber hue of the liquid dripping into a glass carafe below, avoiding dark, muddy colors.
