breakfast in bed
Subject
Breakfast in bed is a classic morning ritual featuring a tray of fresh food and warm drinks arranged over rumpled sheets in soft, natural morning light.
Mastering the Morning Glow
Diffused side-lighting is vital to capture this intimate scene. Position the bed near a large window, using sheer curtains to soften the morning sun, creating gentle shadows on the rumpled linen and highlighting the steam from the coffee.
Focus on tactile contrasts to sell the comfort. Balance the crisp, organic wrinkles of white bedding with the hard, rustic texture of a wooden tray and the glossy shine of fresh fruits or glazed pastries.
