Gel moisturizer is a lightweight, water-based skincare product that looks like a bouncy, translucent jelly and provides instant, non-greasy hydration.
Light is everything. Backlighting or side-lighting is crucial to capture the translucent, bouncy nature of a gel moisturizer. Without it, the product just looks like flat plastic.
Play with props. Pair the gel with elements that scream hydration—like water droplets, frosted glass, or fresh aloe leaves—to instantly communicate its cooling, water-based texture to the viewer.
