Stained glass is a decorative art form where colored glass pieces are joined by lead strips to form a design, typically seen in windows that glow when backlit.
The key to stained glass in AI images is visible lead lines that separate distinct color zones — without them, it just looks like painted glass. Make sure the lines are dark and consistent.
Backlighting is essential. The glass should glow from behind, with varying light intensity across colors. Stick to simple, geometric compositions; complex scenes lose the stained glass read.
