forest floor
Subject
Forest floor — the lowest layer of a woodland, carpeted in a rich tapestry of damp moss, decaying leaves, fallen twigs, and tiny emerging sprouts.
Emphasize quiet moisture. The secret to capturing this space lies in the soft, diffused morning light filtering through the canopy. Avoid harsh, direct sunlight which creates distracting high-contrast spots.
Focus on macro details: Layer damp moss, decaying pine needles, and small fungi to build tactile depth.
Subtle palette: Stick to earthy browns, muted ochres, and deep, velvety greens to convey an organic, serene stillness.
