Seaweed bioplastic is an eco-friendly material made from marine algae, showing a semi-translucent, organic texture with warm, olive-amber tones and flecks.
Capturing the Eco-Material
To highlight the natural origin of seaweed bioplastic, use strong backlighting (light coming from behind the subject) to illuminate its semi-translucent, organic texture and reveal microscopic algal flecks inside the material.
Pair it with clean, neutral backgrounds to keep the focus entirely on the material's unique warm-green tint, avoiding busy environments that distract from its sustainable aesthetic.
