Facial mist is a hydrating skincare spray that delivers a fine, cloud-like veil of moisture over the skin, leaving it with a dewy, glowing finish.
Catching the cloud: The secret to photographing facial mist is aggressive backlighting. Without a strong rim light, the fine water particles disappear entirely.
- Freeze the action: Use a macro lens and a fast shutter speed to suspend the microscopic droplets in mid-air.
- Backdrop contrast: Shoot against a slightly tinted seamless background so the illuminated white mist pops clearly.
