To make the deboss truly sing, focus on the paper and the light rather than complex graphics.

• Paper matters: Always specify high-weight, soft tactile stocks like 600gsm cotton or bamboo paper to allow the plate to bite deep without warping the sheet.
• Control the light: Use low-angle raking side light to cast deep shadows inside the sunken letterforms, revealing the true physical depth of the impression.
