A photographic effect merging two distinct images into a single layered composition, blending textures and silhouettes with ghostly transparency.
🧠 Layered Visual Metaphor
Double exposure overlays two distinct visual narratives within a single frame, using the dark and light values of the primary silhouette to mask and reveal the secondary textured image. It creates a poetic, surreal relationship between the subject and its environment, blending form and texture with ethereal transparency.
Where to apply: Perfect for conceptual portraits, album covers, and cinematic posters to express internal thoughts, psychological states, or a deep connection between a character and a landscape.
