Backlight is key: Smoked glass relies on light passing through it from behind. Without a light source behind the pane, AI models often render it as opaque black acrylic. Always specify ambient backlight (light placed behind the subject) to create soft silhouetting (dark outlines of shapes behind the glass).

Control reflection contrast: Combine dark metallic accents like bronze or matte black to anchor the tinted glass, ensuring realistic specular reflections (bright highlights on shiny surfaces).
