Dada is an anti-art style using cut-and-paste collage, mixed vintage typography, fragmented photos, and absurd combinations that defy visual logic.
Not to be confused with Surrealism: While Surrealism depicts dreamlike fantasies with smooth, painterly polish, Dada relies on raw photomontage (combining cut-out paper photos) and industrial grit to produce jarring, nonsensical satire.
Prompting tip: Keep your carrier subject dead simple. Over-specifying lighting or environment pushes the engine toward modern digital illustration, erasing the tactile paper textures, misaligned print, and mechanical collaging that define the movement.
