To render authentic beeswax, focus on its semi-translucent quality (where light passes through the outer surface but gets scattered inside). Instead of reflecting light sharply like plastic, it absorbs it, creating a soft, warm internal glow. Pair it with strong backlighting to show off this deep, inner light.

The Texture Trap: Avoid bright highlights. Beeswax has a matte, waxy finish that softens reflections. Keep stylization low to ensure the material looks natural and organic rather than shiny and synthetic.
